Gene is an expert in his field, and he takes great care in explaining everything from the perspective of the client. Many inspectors will come in, say very little, and jot down notes without clarifying anything. Gene is not only an experienced inspector – along with a VERY experienced electrician (one of the key components of your inspection) – but is a great communicator. Good luck finding BOTH a great inspector from a technical standpoint AND a great communicator; Gene is definitely great in both of these areas. Gene was honest with me about problem areas and also had suggestions about how to handle the problem areas if I were to decide to take them on. To be sure, Gene’s suggestions were right on. I can’t emphasize enough how important the electric side of an inspection is, which Gene is an expert in. My house was a bit crazy electrically, but Gene was able to give me peace of mind without scaring me with the details. I highly recommend Gene for your home’s inspection.
